Education Give Kids a Chance has established scholarships for youth to attend high school and post-secondary school in Kenya. Five youth from the small village of Chemorut, Kenya, are now attending high school and post-secondary school with funds from GKAC. Two post-secondary school scholarships were also awarded to youth from Kibera slum in Nairobi.
Libraries GKAC established four libraries in remote rural areas of Kenya and Ethiopia where access to books and written resources are extremely limited.
Give Kids a Chance In 2008, two GKAC volunteers spent four months in Kenya and Ethiopia. They lived with local rural communities where they taught and established the libraries and scholarship programmes.
