Give Kids a Chance
Give Kids a Chance Foundation is a registered Canadian charity (charitable # 828476143RR0001) organized created and managed entirely by volunteers. Our promise is that one hundred percent of all donations we receive will end up solely for the aid of the children in our projects. We ensure, by personal involvement that every dollar received is spent directly and only on the children we support. We are able to make this pledge as the directors of Give Kids a Chance volunteer each year in the particular projects where your donations will be utilized. This allows us to personally ensure that the funds donated by you are spent only as intended. We do not simply send your donations to foreign countries. As well as visiting ourselves each project we support, we work in close and continual contact with agents in each country. These agents have been personally selected by us to supervise our scholarship students and other projects during the times we are in Canada.
In addition, as a donor, you may choose a specific purpose for your donation i.e. tuition for college eligible students or other specific projects such as medical assistance, house construction etc. You can also receive personalized feedback as to where your money was spent.
Unfortunately, too often a significant portion of donation moneys are consumed by administration and even when the remainder arrives at its destination, only a percentage of that money actually gets utilized for the intended purpose. With Give Kids a Chance, this absolutely will not occur. All expenses are paid for by volunteers and/or volunteer
service providers. The projects that we are involved with are solely non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and as well are not affiliated with any religious denomination. In addition to donating money, if you are interested in volunteering in the projects we support, or simply visiting the projects you have supported, we can assist you in planning to do so. This enables you to see first hand the tremendous value of your support.
